The materials I use to create my jewelry
Every piece of jewelry begins with an idea, but it truly comes to life through its materials. The choice of metals and stones is a fundamental part of my work, as it determines not only the aesthetics of the final piece but also its quality, durability, and personality.
In my workshop, I primarily use bronze, brass, and aluminum, which are versatile materials rich in character, and I craft them using traditional goldsmithing techniques. Each creation is then completed with 316L stainless steel components and enriched with carefully selected natural gemstones.
Bronze: warm, authentic, and timeless
Bronze is one of the materials I love to use most. It is an ancient alloy, used since antiquity for artistic objects and jewelry, valued for its warm and deep color.
Over time, bronze can develop slight nuances and a natural patina that makes each piece of jewelry even more personal and alive. It is a durable material with an artisanal and organic charm, perfect for creations with a strong character.
Brass: luminosity and versatility
Brass is an extremely versatile material widely used in artisan jewelry. Its golden hue resembles that of gold, but with a more contemporary and tactile identity.
It allows me to create light yet structured forms, maintaining an excellent balance between elegance and design. Hand-worked, brass acquires textures and details that enhance each individual piece.
Aluminum: lightness and comfort
For some collections, I also use aluminum, a surprisingly lightweight and comfortable material to wear.
Its lightness allows for the creation of voluminous yet easy-to-wear everyday jewelry. Moreover, it offers a modern and essential aesthetic that perfectly suits a contemporary style.
316L stainless steel components
For chains, clasps, and ear wires, I use 316L stainless steel, a material known for its strength and reliability.
316L stainless steel is highly valued in the jewelry sector for its high resistance to wear and oxidation. This allows the jewelry components to maintain their appearance and functionality over time.
Nickel-tested metals
All the metals I use are nickel-tested, carefully chosen to offer safer and more comfortable jewelry to wear.
The quality of materials is a fundamental aspect for me: every component is selected not only for its aesthetic value but also to ensure greater reliability in daily use.
Natural gemstones: every piece of jewelry is unique
My creations are adorned with natural gemstones, selected for their unique shades, veins, and characteristics.
Each stone possesses unrepeatable details: small differences in color, inclusions, and transparencies that make every piece of jewelry different from the others. It is precisely this uniqueness that makes every handcrafted creation special.
Natural stones interact with the metal, creating contrasts and harmonies that make each piece authentic and personal.
Craftsmanship and carefully chosen materials
I believe that jewelry should tell a story not only through its form but also through the materials with which it is made.
This is why I choose metals with authentic character, artisan craftsmanship, and natural stones that retain all their original beauty. Every piece of jewelry is born this way: from the encounter between technique, material, and creativity.
